Dear Twisted Teen member,
You are invited to come to a discussion about future teen programs at the Library. I will be here tomorrow night from 7:00-8:00pm in the new Teen Center. It is in the middle of the second floor of the Library. I would love to hear your ideas. So please come and meet the new teen librarian, see the new Teen Center, and share your great ideas. I hope to see you tomorrow.

Message from the director.
Dear All,
About 506 people took the tour. We had over 20 volunteers too helping people with the tour. The teens showed up with signs to support the library. They went to the roundabout to hold up their signs where there was a lot of supportive honking. People who toured were very happy! Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time today.
Guess what? We’re Almost There!
Remember to Vote, Tuesday, November 4th

Cricket Rules
Guys, I found this wonderful website which has all the cricket rules explained in details. Take a look at them and let me know if you have any questions.

Directions to the School.
These are the directions I recieved from Mike Bucek:
1. One way to do it is to do a driving direction search in a popular program like Rand-McNally, Google, etc. The South Glens Falls Middle School is located at 99 Hudson Street, South Glens Falls, 12803.
2. Finding it, though, is relatively easy. Cross the Glens Falls/SGF Bridge (Cooper Bridge?) going north to south. Make a left at the first light which also happens to be the first street beyond the bridge. Then make your first right (required unless you drive headlong into the paper plant). That is Hudson Street. We are about 2/3's of the way down Hudson Street on the left. That is about 3/8's of a mile from the point you turned onto Hudson street.
Keep an eye on the weather. At the moment there are only possible showers forecast so we should be good to go.

Cricket at South Glens Falls High School

This week, , we will be playing cricket at South Glens Falls Middle School instead of meeting at the library. We will be meeting at 5:00 instead of 6:00.
This week on October 2nd 2006 we will be meeting at OWW Middle school’s ground to play cricket with the high school kids. We will be training and introducing cricket rules to their students. We will be meeting at 5:00 instead of 6:00 at the high school ground.
Unfortunately, you'll have to get your own rides to the Middle School. We will be going straight there instead of meeting at the library first, and we will be meeting at 5:00 sharp. It would be even better if you guys can make it there before 5:00.
The address of thse school is:
Oliver W Winch Middle School
99 Hudson St
S Glens Falls, NY 12803
(518) 792-5891
If you have any question regarding this and want more information, please contact me via email sgoswami@sals.edu or by phone 518-792-6508 ext 3.

Message to "my" twisted teens :-)
Guys, I just wanted to let you all know about how proud I am of all you guys. In last 2 years, the group has faced many hardships. Some were out in open and some things happened behind the scene. Sometimes a few of you guys gave me hard time but most of the times you guys allowed me to be with you and learn about you. Some of you opened up to me like a friend, while others respected me like a big brother…. mebbe like a teacher or a parent .. umm actually no, never like a parent cuz then I feel old, so lets stick to the bigggggg brother thingy :-D
I think I want to start with Emma, who we all should commend about what she has given to the group. Her devotion to the group is laudable. In past 2 plus years, she has treated everyone fairly and wisely. She has whole heartedly welcomed every new member to the group. At times she has guided me and saved many of you from trouble. I think it is very big of her to take this decision to shed her powers and let others show their skills.
I have faith in all of you. Tessa did a splendid job as the Vice President of the group, and filled in Emma’s shoes and always helped us with her witty advice. I am sure she is ready to take over the position as the new President of the group. Adam, a senior member to the group, but not as senior as Tessa, has proved his ability to be a fine leader many a times. At present he is the head of the blog committee and I am proud to say that his enthusiasm to work on this proves that he is ready to take more challenge and help the “Twisted Teens” group in many more ways.
Chris is very capable of being vice president what with volunteering and his seniority and Brandon a very nice addition to our group, that I'm sure could handle the job, both are our candidates for the Vice Presidents are running for the first time for any Twisted Teens Post and I don’t have any doubt in their ability and I am sure they will be excellent Deputies to the President and help her/him with the required duties. I wish you luck with this voyage of yours and hope that you will help the Twisted Teens group the way Tessa and Emma have always done.
