and Tessa Kuster were all present.
The group met in the basement of Dog Ate My Homework. We had snacks and played board games. Last week, Emma was elected president, but at our meeting on Thursday she announced that she had decided not to take office. So, we will have new elections, probably starting at our next meeting. Chris is still re-elected as V.P.
At our next meeting, we will be in Dog Ate again, and we will have an art night. If you have any art supplies or crafts that you want to share at this meeting, please bring them!

update:
it seems that I illegally altered some code in the link button images this resulted in a nasty little e-mail and the removal of all of my original images.
Well, I showed them the sidebar buttons are back again and better than ever (and legal too).

twisted books

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Read Book: The Dangerous Days of Daniel X
by James Paterson
This book was wonderful and colorful with a fantasy type feel even though I would classify it as a science fiction the story kinda goes like this Daniel and his parents are aliens from another planet very similar to earth the only huge difference is the ability to manipulate matter, aka everything, so him and his parents are sort of a men in black type protectors of earth until a red preying mantis with a shrunken head and dreadlocks called the prayer kills Daniels parents.he seeks to do his parents job and have a shot at revenge.
Five out of Five stars
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Read Book: Vote For Larry
I recently read the second book in the gospel according to Larry series,Vote for Larry by Janet Tashjian. I don't want to dispense too many details so I will tell you this, It is a beautifully written book that has a message for teens, to stand up and be recognized in order to get the government to actually care about the people instead of them selfs. It doesn't necessarily have a "happy" ending just more of a cliff hanger which in this case is good because it imply s a third book
overall it gets five out of five stars.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Twisted books update:
I Have decided to do book reviews for books that I have read because Its rather hard for a group of twenty people to agree on a book to read. But as one person I read a lot of books.
hope you like it

our next book discussion, August 21st
July 22nd, 2008

Our next discussion will be on August 21st. We will be discussing two books: Life as We Knew It by Susan Bell Pfeffer; and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. You don't have to read both books - if you want to read just one, that's fine. Our meeting will be three hours long that night instead of just two - from 6:00 to 7:00 we'll discuss Life As We Knew It, from 7:00 to 8:00 we'll do other activities, and from 8:00 to 9:00 we'll discuss the Diary of a Part-Time Indian. Sukrit has just reserved copies of both books, which will soon be available at the reference desk.

Twisted News: Our new News cast, IN NEED OF REPORTERS
